In the operation against clandestine trafficking, a number of businessmen and police officers have been arrested for involvement in illegal activities. Authorities are continuing investigations to identify and prosecute all those involved in this illicit trafficking network.

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has announced that so far, 24 personal security measures have been executed for individuals under investigation, while appropriate search efforts are underway for 2 other individuals under investigation. According to SPAK, in this operation, over 1.1 million euros and dollars have been seized.
