Тhe Bulgarian Minister of Transportation, Information Technology and Communication, Mr.Rossen Jeliazkov, visited Telekom Albania during his official visit in Tirana, which was focused on the future of economic and strategic cooperation between Albania and Bulgaria. Telekom Albania is currently the biggest Bulgarian investment in Albania.
Minister Jeliazkov met with the company’s senior management and executive team and was briefed on the immediate plans for investments in the network infrastructure and IT by the company.
Telekom Albania has just acquired license on 800 MHz frequency for 7.5 million euros and is further going to invest in the most up-to-date technology for 4G/4G+ networks. This commitment, coupled with the human expertise and modern equipment, guarantee the path of Telekom Albania towards a leading company in the sector.
“I am very happy to be here at Telekom Albania, the biggest Bulgarian investment in Albania, and at the same time, one of the most important companies in the country”, said Minister Jeliazkov.
He also congratulated the management team of Telekom Albania for their achievements, and expressed his support for the further progress of telecommunications in Albania.
During his visit at Telekom Albania, Minister Jeliazkov was also accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Albania, Mr. Momchil Raychevski.
