A man wanted for murder has been arrested in Tirana. The 27 year old Elson Daci, aka Gazmir Daci, was handcuffed last midnight, as he’s suspected of the murder of Valmir Kolaveri and the injury of Robert Kolaveri on 4 November in Bathore.
The man was arrested in a hotel room in the highway linking Tirana to Durres, where he’s thought of having stayed since the moment of the crime.
Police found him in possession of the murder weapon, a TT pistol and 9 bullets.
It’s suspected that the conflict between Daci and Kolaveri brothers started after a verbal debate and afterwards, the suspect left the bar and ambushed the two brothers when they came out.
Police suspect that their conflict relates to a deal that was breached, as all three of them had collaborated with each other for several months, by helping different people who had violated the Shengen visa agreement, to take them to France.
