Disabled persons will not have a limited suffrage in these elections. Voting centers will be on the first floor of the objects where they are designed to be established to enable the movement of para and quadriplegics. Premises will be equipped with ramps, special ballots will be provided for blind people. CEC ads will be accompanied with sign language for those who do not hear.

CEC assisted by OSCE decides to provide these facilitations for 140 thousand disabled persons who enjoy the right to vote.

"Ramps will be places in every premise where there will be a voting center and we have requested to local units these centers to be on the ground floors," said CEC chairwoman, Lefteri Lleshi.

"There are certain problems for disabled persons to reach the ballot box, as there are problems to communicate with the ballot. The greatest difficulty is faced by blind people," said the chair of the Blind Association, Sinan Tafaj.

Present at a two-day training for a group of blind people, who will train nearly 2 000 other voters of this category, OSCE ambassador, Eugen Wollfarth, stressed the completion of CEC within Thursday.

"Having a complete CEC should be the top of the wishing list. Elections and their preparation is an important process, where CEC is clearly involved. Even discussion from political parties and leaders on other important issues coming after June 23rd is very constructive and useful. Giving the green light to further European integration and thus, towards institutional stability, is an extremely important decision, thus, I would wish for it to be received as soon as possible, including Parliament. I would like to stress that this is my desire, considering myself a friend of Albanians, it’s not an appeal. Everything that will be decided in Parliament will be a just and sovereign decision and of course, I would hope it to be in the interest of Albanians," said Wollfarth.

The last session of Parliament before the general elections will be held on Thursday. Apart from the three status laws, fiscal amnesty is in the agenda, but not the completion of three vacant seats in CEC.
