

Tirana, April 8, 2013, NOA.al – Within of "Week of Rome’s Values", Municipality of Tirana, in collaboration with UNDP, has organized the “Artisan Fair”, which was opened today in the way "Murat Toptani".
In this exhibition, roma artisans from different regions of the country, will present their works as an expression of the traditions and culture of this community.
At the opening ceremony of this exhibition, vice-Mayor Jorida Tabaku, has launched a joint initiative with the EU, about the urban re-qualification of two areas populated from roma’s community in the municipial units, 4 and 8. Part of this riqualification is also the construction of social houses for this community and an integrated school.
"We, together with the Delegation of European Union, have a project which soon begins to be implemented.
Is a sustainable iniciative, that we finally, are offering education and houses for this community who has had much difficulty in its integration," said Tabaku.
