Tirana, 24 December 2012, NOA – In the meeting of inter-ministerial committee for the 100-th anniversary of Independence, Prime Minister Sali Berisha said this anniversary of Albania’s independence is the feast of the century.

In addition, he said that the feast was celebrated with dignity and that this year were made serious efforts to give the deserved importance, focusing on the installation of statues, the monument of independence, the arrival of book "Meshari" in Albania, and a range of feed and other activities for the celebrations.

"The most storical aspect of this 100-th anniversary is the albanian citizens. 28 November will remains in history not only as the date of the declaration of independence of Albania, but also as a day of the national movement in the history of this nation.

Tirana, Vlora and across Albania have not ever experienced in history, a nationwide movement so massive as what these in 28 November …
