Tirana, 12 December 2012, NOA – At the meeting of government, Prime Minister Sali Berisha, spoke about the rejection of status of candidate in European Union, saying that this failure about status, came from not voting of three laws.

According to him, Edi Rama realized his purpose, the purpose of blocking the obtaining of status, with the blind faith that status would weaken the position of government during the next elections.

"I think that the status strength the position of albanians in the process of integration and revealed the contribution of all stakeholders in this process.

But Rama publicly and privately stated that the status will conditions the elections, but this it did not happen", said Berisha, reports noa.al.

Berisha recalled that Rama did not voted, and ensured that no one can not prevent a nation and a place, in a natural process to takes its place among the civilized nations….
