Tirana, December 8, 2012, NOA – At the square "Democracy", in Student City, was inaugurated today the statue of Azem Hajdari.

Present at the ceremony was also Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who said that this bust is inaugurated, in the day on which, 22 years ago, the students of University of Tirana led by Azem Hajdari, began their great protest, reports noa.al.

"Today, we inaugurate here the statue of the leader of December, the statue of the young student, who in our national history will remains the champion that with his courage, determination and vision, did more for freedom of albanians", said Prime Minister.

He also said that this statue, which can be placed on any boulevard, in every street of the capital, stands majestic than anywhere else, in this place, that for albanians is the place where was born the human dignity….
