Vlora, November 27, 2012, NOA – At a special ceremony in city of Vlora, the Mayor Shpëtim Gjika, praised the figure of academic Rexhep Qosja and ex- U.S. ambassador in Albania, John Withers, giving to them, the title of "Honorary Citizen".

In his speech, Gjika appreciated the diplomacy of Withers at the time that he carred the task of U.S. top-diplomat in Albania, just as well, the activity of academic Qosja for Albania, and Vlora in particular.

As reports noa.al, Gjika praised the writer Qosja as a descendant of albanian Renaissance.

Referring to the american diplomat, the first citizen of Vlora said that Withers has played a crucial role in Albania at the time, that he leaded the american diplomacy in our country.
