

Tirana, 21 November 2012, NOA – At noon of today was inaugurated “Wilson Square” in the capital, where will stands the statue of ex-President of United States of America, Thomas Woodrow Wilson.
At the ceremony held on this occasion, Ambassador of U.S.A, Alexander Arvizu has expressed gratitude to the albanian people, and added that President Wilson has played a crucial role in the recognition of the independence of Albania.
Following, Prime Minister Sali Berisha said that the statue of President Wilson has been carved over the years in the memory of the albanians, and that this is a more than deserved honor to the character and his role for our country.
Berisha expressed gratitude for the support of U.S.A, about the collapse of the communist regime.
