Roma, May 07, NOA – As part of his visit to Italy, albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha, had a meeting with his italian counterpart, Mario Monti.

During his speech, Monti praised the albanian community in Italy, saying that they are second in number, among immigrants and among the most integrated in his country.

"For this reason, Italy has supported the liberalization of visas and despite the need to limit our public expenditures, the activity of the Italian Cooperation has increased.

For the integration, Premier Berisha and I,  had the first meeting in Brussels in ’96, when I was commissioner, I expressed appreciation for all the tasks fulfilled by the Albanian government," said Monti, reports noa.al.

From his part, Premier Berisha expressed gratitude to the Italian Prime Minister, his government and the Italian nation for the extraordinary support they have given to Albania and albanian peoples in the way of hard but successful construction of a free society based on universal values ​​of freedom and rights human rights and market-rights….
