Tirana, May 05, NOA – Leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, LSI, maked this morning homages to the memorial "Mother Albania" on the occasion of Martyrs Day, 5 May.

Secretary’s General of LSI, Luan Rama expressed for media that this is a day to honor fallen persons in the war, but also the day when a nation shows respect for its-self.

"This memorial serves as a reference day of glory and pride, for meeting the aspirations of all those who gave their lives for freedom," said Rama. He said that this day is the symbol of the contribution of the martyrs of Fascist War.

"5 May is the day of reverence for all the martyrs who died for freedom, 5 May is a reference glory and pride, is the 70 -anniversary of the fall of Qemal Stafa, the outstanding figure of the movement and the War….
