Tirana, 28 February, NOA – The leader of Socialist Party,  Edi Rama, called the progress of Serbia’s candidacy for European Union as a fact that highlights the backwardness of our country in this regard.

Rama said that what happened should not have happened, because Albania overtaken by Serbia and risks falling back out, having failed as no one else in the history of European countries for the third consecutive year.

In this line, the chief of PS, said that the opposition has made her duties, while the government has not made ​​any of its direct duties, and that the candidate status is not taken simply by passing laws with 3/5 of votes.

"Integration is not only a passage, but also a state of rules and laws and a society of free competition, transparency and meritocracy ….
