Intesa Sanpaolo celebrated its 10th Anniversary in Albania, inaugurated its renewed business premises at Rr. Barrikadave & communicated to all stakeholders the successful institutional & operational merger with Veneto Banka. In the presence of its partners & clients with the special participation of Mr. Gent Sejko, Bank of Albania Governor; H. E. Mr. Alberto Cutillo, Italian Ambassador in Tirana; Mr. Erion Veliaj, Tirana’s Mayor; the members of its Board of Directors & its Chairman, Mr. Bozo Prka; Mr. Alessandro Dordolo, Head of HR in ISBD, the ceremony started with a welcoming drink, continued with the greetings of the Special Guests, and after cutting the ribbon of the renewed business premises, followed with a cocktail reception.

In his welcoming speech Mr. Silvio Pedrazzi, CEO, thanked all the clients and guests for their participation in this important event for Intesa Sanpaolo.

He emphasized the successful operational and institutional merger with Veneto Banka, greeted the 10 Anniversary of Intesa Sanpaolo brand in Albania, and invited all customers and employees to consider these renewed business premises at Rr. Barrikadave, as totally in their disposal and belonging, in the frame of the amazing relationship shared.

Mr. Bozo Prka, Chairman of the Board of Director thanking all the guests reminded the Banks’ mission in the country, aiming a long-term development, offering different financing opportunities by applying the best banking principles & practices, continuing to help the country integrate in EU.

In their greetings speeches the authorities appreciated the presence of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank as one of the most important banks in the country, bringing the experience and culture of one of the biggest and strongest banking groups in Europe.

They emphasized the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania role in supporting and financing public and private investments, being oriented towards sectors ensuring a stable development, as the main pillars of the country economic growth.

As highly valuable was considered the bank ethical way of performing daily business, being a model in Corporate Social Responsibility by providing continues support for the community.

The Bank follows a business approach putting the individual and humanity in its center, being these values the core promoters of the long lasting relationship with customers, based on mutual trust.

In the symbolic of thanking all our customers for their loyalty and cooperation the ribbon cutting ceremony was done by one of the first customers of the Bank, Mr. Luan Leka and the Bank of Albania Governor, Mr. Gent Sejko.

The celebration continued in a friendly and positive atmosphere, sharing ideas & perspectives, while enjoying the cocktail, with a selected Italian music in background.
