Tirana, September 19, 2012, NOA – The murder of chief of police of Shijak, Adem Tahiraj, prompted Prime Minister Sali Berisha to proposes condanment forever against any killer of police’s officers.
He said that this article should be taken as soon in the Parliament as an support for the State’s Police, and guaranteed the blue uniforms for the support of government.
In this point, he indicated that the rate of detection of crimes by the albanian police, is at the highest levels that may exist, adding also that this detection’s rate is the more consolidated.
He expressed appreciation for the Court of Serious Crimes, also for the determination of judges and prosecutors of this sector, saying that Albania would not have realized none of its major objectives, NATO’s membership, visas or other processes of integration, without the work of justice.
In this line, he added that there are also other times of a deep compromise of these institutions of justice by certain segments of the policy ....
